I was born and raised in Germany, and I moved to Italy at the age of 18, I lived in Cremona and attended the violin making school while starting to enjoy this beautiful country. I moved to Tuscany 4 years later and as my love for this country was growing, so was the passion for nature and discovery. In 2003 I took the environmental guide school and right after I started working as a guide all around Italy, from Tuscany, to Sardinia, Puglia, Liguria and so on. I love biking and walking and taking the time to enjoy nature, observe birds which I am passionate about, share the beauty of the Italian landscapes with others who wish to know and explore this country, so rich in culture, history and botanical varieties. I love to take people to various tastings and allow them to discover the so many different kinds of food and wines that Italy is so rich of, and to appreciate the Italian cuisine at its best while visiting the different regions.

Tommaso was born in Pistoia, a medieval town near Florence. Since when he was a child he always loved to go outdoor on foot or with his bike to explore and discover new places. He also like to meet people and share experiences, that’s why he decided to became a guide. He studied biology on Pisa, the town of the leaning tower. Beside nature other two of his great passions are history and food and wine, he is an authorized tourist guide and a sommelier. He hope to bike with you soon!

I am the typical italian in love with her country, I have never enough of Tuscany When I was a child I had a dream, I wanted to become a professional guide of my fabulous region. I was born in Florence and grew up at the feet of the big dome of the cathedral. At the university I studied languages, German and English. Once graduated I worked for the export departments of several companies, thanks to my jobs I have travelled all over the world. 10 years ago I decided to make my dream come true so I studied art and history and I passed the exam to become an official tour guide of Florence. As my favourite hobbies were all outdoor sports (ski, trekking, bike) and I spent most of my free time in the wild I decided to become also a professional tour leader in nature. Now I am ready to share my passions with you.

My name’s Serena, I was born and raised in San Miniato, a picturesque town nestled in the Tuscan hills. I have always been passionate about nature and animals, from a very young age. As a teenager, I also developed a love for cinema and literature, studying humanities in Florence and then moving to Berlin to learn German. I stayed there for seven years, revelling in the city’s colourful, multicultural, and stimulating environment. There I fell in love again, but this time with cultural and human diversity, hearing thousands of stories about people from all over the world. I graduated in Forestry at the University for Sustainable Development in Eberswalde, in the woods of Brandenburg. Then, once I’d completed my studies, I finally gave in to a strong wave of homesickness which drove me back to my beloved Tuscany. Since 2018, I have been an environmental hiking guide and tour leader, working in tourism and environmental education.

I was born in Belgium and grew up in 3 different European countries before I came to Tuscany in 1998, just as I was finishing my MA in History. I immediately fell in love with this country, its landscape, its culture, its history… and with my Italian wife. In 2010, I acquired my official license as Nature & Hiking Guide in Tuscany and I started working with visitors from Northern Europe. As well as guiding people through beautiful Tuscan landscapes and telling them about local history, food and wine, I like to act as a ‘cultural bridge’ between the Latin and the Northern European culture, which is often misunderstood by both parties. I provide my services in English, Dutch, French, German and Italian.
